You know, this is one of those ideas that work better as a game than as a movie. In the game, you expect over the top explosions, storylines, acting. But in a movie... You might as well give it to Uwe to direct...
You kidding? I HOPE THEY DO bring that over!
Brilliant! Though he should have a desk attached him as well!
If this is the kind of games the system is launching with, then MS will end up with the biggest collection of Kinects ever. In some warehouse.
If Metal Gear is to respected as a brand then it has to expand beyond one type of gameplay. Just as long as the creators don't forget to come back to what made the core game fun, and make a new one every now and then. I'd rather Konami take this approach, than what Activision does with Tony Hawk, Guitar Hero, and iterate on the same gameplay annually, without innovating.
I'm still not convinced this will be a WOW killer. While this is Star Wars, it isn't the Star Wars most people know, so it's still got an uphill battle when it comes to convincing people that they want to just into a world without Luke, Vadar, and Solo.
I will say this about the Star Wars trailer. Absolutely amazing. Left chills down my spine.
I will also say this about any Star Wars trailer. It will end up being better than the game ever could be.
The game deserved much more attention than it got, IMO.
Phantasy Star Online
Jet Grind Radio
Skies of Arcadia (The one game I would KILL to have brought back!)
Space Channel Five
Samba De Amigo (x10 better than the new Wii version)
Valve and Sony working together is a bigger deal than most people realize. This could be a game changer for the console.

Valve just confirmed it. So Steam on PS3 is potentially a much bigger deal than people realize.

The guy is a gaming god. And he's also the nicest person you can ever meet. But you could tell he was getting pissed because of the problems. It was suppose to be the biggest reveal for Nintendo, something that could steal the show, and the whole technical issue got in the way. It's really too bad. I thought the concept was quite brilliant.
This I can get into. I tried playing Fable 2 with my woman and she loved the game. But after a few sessions of the badly implemented co-op in Fable 2 we gave up. Who wants to play a character where you can't carry over your stats?
I originally thought it was Doctor Strange as well. But I think you could be onto something here. Since the story being hinted at is about 2 worlds colliding, I can see a baddie like Dread Dormammu being at the center of the chaos.
I guess the only reason NOT to think it might be him... he's such an obscure character. Who cares if he's in a fighting game?
I thought they would. The 3DS had some strong buzz going in, and there were hints of some big games being revived liked Goldeneye, Kid Icarus, and Donkey Kong. But oddly, the whole show was rather pedestrian. Didn't have a big bang, if you will.
Of all the big press events, BY FAR it was the best showing. Well played Sony. I think you might actually catch up now.
Yeah, but they had invites. Why invite your own staff, and then don't let them in? That's not very nicey.
Hey, why you giving credit to someone else when I wrote the story?
If you are going to call someone a liar, at least give me credit for that!
Though, technically I'm not lying. I'm just posting what was mentioned by people privy to the project.
So... when was a review NOT an opinion piece? Even if a movie got 39% on RT, that still means that someone out there liked it.
And yeah, I bet most people would disagree with this review too.
BTW - Your name is fitting.
Got several things to say about this:
1. Just because this guy makes a remarkable achievement by getting such a high achievement score, he's now a loser? Would you say the same thing about the guy who practices all day to play a musical instrument? Or someone who watches sports every day on ESPN? Because I know people like that, and no one seems to think they are losers.
2. It's entirely possible that he has that gamerscore. He could have had help. A ...
